Retirement Dream

My Mother was a wise lady, and never had the opportunity to advance the words she would say. She would always say pick up every penny you see on the ground and you will never be broke. When in my teens an elderly man said to me" if your bills are paid at the end of each month and you have one dollar left you will be secure in your future.
A radio show host had a saving plan never spend a dollar but use a five, ten, and twenties to pay for items, and in a year you could take the vacation you always dreamed about.
Hear I am retired at 65, sitting of the banks of Lake Lanier in Ga. where I type my yearly blog,
I'm not rich by any means but I have my lovely wife of twenty-seven years and enough savings to give me a comfortable retirement.
This is the motivation that I try to get across in my blogs. I learned a long time ago that luck was not the way to look at life, only you that can make your life where you want it to be at retirement. Life isn't having a good job, but a job till you find a better job. It isn't picking up pennies but paying yourself fifteen percent of your paycheck each month and putting it in a good mutual fund. It isn't having a lovely wife but having a lovely wife that will work with you to have that one dollar at the end of each month.
Here is a saying that I hate, "Life isn't fare the rich just keep getting richer". Life is fare cause the poor are the only ones that can get richer and the rich are the only ones that can help the poor get rich.

Being a Leader

I have noticed people that I am around, have unwanted fears, of loosing their job, fear of starting a small home business, or just what their life is going to lead them. When explaining to some that small business can be exciting, they will find all the negative reasons to mask their fear. These people really want to be shown how they can get to their goals.
A co-worker of mine has a fear of being fired. I told him that every time he has this thought, he should tell himself "I was looking for a job when I found this one". What I do when I feel that I had rather be somewhere else, I sing the tone, " I don't care anymore", and that changes my mind set for the rest of the day.
I use a quote in a lot of my blogs, " That person is really lucky to have what he has". There is a better word for Luck, "MOTIVATION", We can motivate some one just by being there for them and giving them something to reach for, you will also enjoy there joy. I know a personal trainer, and she had one student that was over weight, after several months she had her run a small K race, when the student finished the race she couldn't stop crying with joy at what she had done.

What Means the Most to You

A year ago I posted a blog while camping from this same camp site on Lake Lanier in Ga.The only things that have changed are, we are a year older and not in a tent. We used our Hertz cub truck for a camper. It has refrigerator, shelving, beds and plenty of storage for our needs. Now when we leave for home we wont be talking about drying out the tent, putting every thing up for next time. Comfort and my family needs are what mean the most to me.
When I was younger I use to say, " the people in the big bus campers relay are lucky to have that kind of money." Guess what, they didn't have any more luck then anyone else, they new what kind of future they wanted and they had to be motivated to work, to successful in the future.
Since the 2008 elections I have had more people calling me about my home business, We invite customers to shop from a personal care product co., when they realize they have to do something they hang up, those people will always be in a tent.
Don't stay in a tent, get motivated, make changes, take chances, become debt free, and one day you will be on the lake at six in the morning, watching the birds fly over, hear the fish jumping and your mind will be free because you made the move to now what means the most to you.

Once in a Blue Moon

When anything unusual happens people will buy a lottery ticket, they think it is a winning sign.
We just had a Blue Moon and to top that it was on New Years Eve. Luck is something that the other person did and it turned out to be a great deal for them. Motivation is what causes luck and every one has motivation within, when you turn your motivation loose it is not luck anymore.
Talk to ten people that you don't know and you will be surprised at how many have a small business. It may be baking cakes or growing and selling plants.
When looking for a business it must have great track record, lots of one on one help, no risk, doesn't affect you budget and must help your life as much as the person you are helping . This has been my small business for six years now and it can be yours when you release your motivation.

Listen To Your Self

While raking leaves early in the morning, on a cool brisk day, and before anyone else gets out, I had time to think of the future. These leaves are put here by Nature for a reason, to make dirt for the next growing season. I enjoy gardening, so I put the leaves in a pile add some blood meal, and kitchen scraps, and next year I will have some Nature's dirt for my garden and sell some. Where am I going? With a little motivation and thought you can do anything, What you think is junk, can become extra money. If you go to a gym, ask the gym for a commission when your friends join? I get paid for just showing people how save money while improving their health.
Don't just want, get motivated and Do.

What Matters Most to You

When you are involved with a serious situation in your life, you see how many other people have the same problem. The problem I am referring to is chemicals in the home. It sounds good to say "we must protect the children", when adults are in the same danger. Radio being the most listen to communication, what type of programing is important to you? News, talk, computing, music, or health? TV is running doctor shows and home improvement for better health, because of the emphasis is on health.
Improving your families health can be quick and inexpensive. It is FREE to ask questions and for new purchases you will just be changing stores and your budget will also be safe and healthy.

I need a job OR I am looking for a job

What do you hear when someone says, "Got to find a Job" or "I'm looking for work"??
"Got to find a job" is just a phrase a person that is going no where and suddenly it is to late. "I'm looking for work", this person has a reason and is spending his spare time knocking on doors just to let people know he is ready when the job opens.
I work at a company that is having difficulties and the employs are worried. So which phrase do you think is most used?? You said the first one! You are correct. Having no goal in your future you will always be in debt and in a rut. Another phrase is: 'that guy got lucky". Read the book The Millionaire Next Door and see how they got lucky. Yes, I work at this company and everyone knows I also work from home having fun and making an income. Their is not one person interested enough to change there future. That is what I call not having a dream of a future.
